Common Questions

How can I join the club?

Becoming a member is simple. Please email to our Membership Secretary at BWCofficial246@gmail.com for details on joining or for information on attending a monthly meeting to connect with us before finalising your application.

Do I need to be British to join?

Our membership is connected to both the UK and Barbados. Membership is open to women who were born in the UK, who have acquired British citizenship, served in the British Armed Forces, are partners of British citizens, or returning Barbadian Nationals. Additionally, at the discretion of the Committee, the Club may accept up to 15 members not covered by the above.

What kind of activities do you organise?

In addition to our monthly meetings, we maintain a busy calendar of events including coffee mornings, luncheons, cultural excursions and outings, charity initiatives, volunteering activities, community engagement, and more.

How can I volunteer or give back?

Charity and community engagement are central to our club. We fundraise for Barbadian charities throughout the year through raffles and other activities. Members may take on committee posts or other roles within the club, volunteer to participate in partner activities, and propose new ways to support local engagement.

What costs are associated with joining the Club?

Annual membership is BBD$40. Members attending the Monthly Meeting pay a BBD$10 meeting fee to cover insurance, room hire and refreshments.
